What is Outernet London?
Outernet London is a cutting-edge entertainment district, combining digital art, immersive experiences, music, and state-of-the-art technology. The main space is “The Now Building,” boasting some of the world’s largest wraparound screens that display dynamic digital content, creating a truly immersive visual experience. If you’ve ever visited a teamLab, it’s similar to some of their immersive experiences. It’s quite trippy.
The exhibits aren’t static or stagnant either. Although the content does repeat itself throughout the day, the art and music changes on a regular basis so the next time you visit it’s a different experience. If you’re already in the city, especially around Tottenham Court Road or Covent Garden, swing by Outernet London. You only need to be there for about 10 minutes or so, depending on how much you want to immerse yourself.
As long as they continue to maintain it, it’s set to become a staple of London’s cultural scene, offering a glimpse into the future of urban entertainment and artistic expression. It’s great for the influencers!
